I FINALLY got the last raised bed put together. It took a mere 72 nuts/bolts. My back is protesting, my eyes are crossed and my fingers are sore. Maybe I should order a couple more, lol.

I've been working to fill a new raised bed. Got sticks and stuff in the bottom and putting dirt on top. It's a process and it's taking me forever. I have to get on the tractor and go scoop some dirt from the mountain of pond dirt. Then I take it as far as I can with the tractor and dump it...

THIS! I enjoy being frugal - it's like a fun challenge. I've learned to do so many things myself just because I hate to pay someone for something that I can do myself. Of course, there's sometimes a pretty big learning curve, lol.

Tossing around the idea of maybe fish fillets and crispy brussels sprouts. That's what I'm thinking... At this point action has not been implemented. Might go look for some tortillas. Oh! Fish tacos sound better!

Probably a big fat nothing, lol. WE went out for a late-ish lunch after DH's podiatrist appointment. I shouldn't have eaten the whole thing - but I ate the WHOLE thing! Still stuffed and so is DH.

For the most part - yes. Raised beds are closer to the house and easier to work and access. However - I'd like to find a place to plant more sprawling veggies like squash, pumpkins and melons. Might need to move a piggy - their pens would be the perfect place.

I put together another raised bed yesterday and got it in place. Started a layer of sticks and twigs in the bottom. If it stops raining, I'll work on getting dirt added. One more bed to hopefully finish this afternoon - after I go to the hardware store for more nuts/bolts.

Tuna salad sammiches last night... I was tired, lol.

I told DH that I have a hankering for some Chinese food. Maybe Tues when we're out for a doc appt.
