Light frost but the sun chased that away fast. 50s today...chores done, just a tiny skim of ice on a couple tubs. Inside, thinking & planning, while having another cup of morning fuel. Hard life :lol:

Cool mid 20s to start but was in 30s most of the night, so should be just a skim of ice on the water tubs this morning. Been up with hot coffee & my heater going to knock the chill out of the house. Daylight has come, so feed & go to work! Appears we're getting a nice warm up next week...

Ready for propane fill here, too. Ugh, the bill. Does your mom layer up for clothing? I'm cold natured and have lots of jackets, vests & long johns 🤣

It's in 50s here at wake up. Shocker!! Love it. Car broke down/cut of, wouldn't start, on way home last night. Fortunately at a "convenient" off road spot. Plus only 2 miles from home. Had DS come get me, in my truck. Will call ins Rd service to tow it home this morn. 🤷 Worry about why...

Warmed up to 40 today. Some thawing. Enough that the huge blocks of ice in water tubs got dumped! Got them all cleaned out & refilled. Happy animals! 😄 Just fed early for tonight so I could come in & relax with hot tea & Aleve! Tossed all night. Sore, sleepy, tired. Didn't go to work...

Yeah, we're single digits feel likes this morn. Warming starts. Above freezing today and 40-50 all week start tomorrow. I am sooo thankful!! 😁 March is only 20 days away!! Hope better weather :lol:

A baked sweet potato.

Boston butt in oven. Sweet potatoes will go in shortly. Thinking a jar of the canned baked beans will be added since oven is on. Then they'll be eaten during the week. I'm working most days, lunches & ready meals works well. 😀 Have half a baked chicken to devour in the mix.

Too cold for this mom, too!! But animals need food & water...you grit your teeth and do it. :th Now optional things, nope...ya don't do those. 😁 Only 20 days until March!
