Lazy Gardener
Super Self-Sufficient
Check out this. I may try this method this spring:
I have made seed tapes for little seed from a roll of toile paper. (new, of course) Lay it out, spray very lightly to barely dampen. Place seed, fold the length in half. I put it on wax paper. you can leave in warm place for softening seeds or not. Trench ground, lay in seeded TP.
Beets are hard & slow starters. Moisten on wet paper towels for a couple days, then plant.
I like his ideas but, doubt my carrots will get a row. Maybe a tub.I want some cute little rounds carrots.
I've done that also but just lay toilet paper in a hoe'd trench. Easy to see the seeds against the white background that way. The just rake dirt up over the toilet paper and call it done.
Did you make seed tape, or just lay out TP, and sprinkle the seed on the TP so you could see it, before covering it?
