Snow in TEXAS!!! It snowed Sunday, was melting Monday and very few patches of snow left today. Texas knows how to throw a snow party. We got 5" of lovely snow, and by day 3, it's gone. Oh yeah!

And - now I want pie! I've been threatening to make a pumpkin cheesecake for awhile. Just need to get up off my behind and do it!

Be sure and plant your Giant Pink Banana Squash seeds in the spring! You might even get 3 crops off the same vines like I did!

I do like my partridge silkies. This one is Broly. He's from the batch I hatched on New Years a few years ago. They were brooded inside so he liked to stand on the brooder plate and beg for attention.
