So I kinda got really into shelling bean varieties yesterday and despite having no room for them I’m going to order 3-5 varieties. Nobody was happy to hear me rambling about them

how many varieties of what kind would you like for next year? :) i have a bunch (i no longer count how many). i don't have many pole beans, most of what i do have are bush beans or semi-runner types. i also have some peas.

i won't be mailing out any more for this year but i would put you on the list for next year. PM your address and tell me what you are looking for. no cost to you. i do this as a hobby and to share beans with friends is always fun.

i am on-line in gardening forums because i can't talk beans with people here (in person) much either. i mean, i have to tone it down... :) (even for the garden club :) )...

I get that. My obsession with seeds and planting should be in the DSMV.

I need to plant corn, finish the beans, and start on cover crops. Experimenting with pseudo-grains this year. Amaranth, quinoa, sesame and chia are in the ground.

i wish i could do more things like that here, but i am not the landowner yet so i can't. you will always have a lot of interesting things to choose from for snacking. :)

I got my peas planted in one of the raised beds. I started them indoors not knowing that you shouldn’t but they will be fine. At least I know for next year. By the time the peas are done my loofahs should be ready to go in and take their place which I am really excited for
