I'm Anja. A country girl (born & raised) Mama to 2 furry babies (Jessie and Lily), photographer, backyard farmer, christian and crafter. I grew up in a small village in Germany and spend a year as Au pair in Nanuet, NY before I moved to Newcastle, UK in December 2003. After living 9 years in the UK, I have moved back to Germany in August 2012.

I am trying to live a slower paced, self-sufficient and simple life, which was one of the main reasons to move back to Germany. Now I am living in an old 1900 century farm house style home, with a small 1/10 acre of land in the middle of the country.
