    well the ball book says 40 mins for quarts. these are 1.5 pints so we processed 40 mins at 10lbs

    surprise, more potatoes. these are all canned in grocery jars. most are atlas mason jars. all took 10lbs just fine.

    we use our dehydrator alot! okra has been really great for soups and stews. i just throw it in while the pot is boiling. we dehydrate alot of herbs as well and onions. once the onions are dehydrated i run them threw a blender and mince them down to a chunky powder of sorts. its great in...

    we got the potatoes out and sowed okra and pole beans in their place. there are volunteer tomatoes, melons and dill popping up all over the place. im gonna let it all go and see what we get

    we cut the pork belly in sections small enough to fit in 1 gallon freezer bags and then rubbed them down as directed. the directions say they need to cure for a week in the fridge. i will likely flip them daily. stay tuned to see how it comes out.

    so the directions say 16 oz is good for 25 lbs. we have nowhere near that much so a little math and i figured we use .64 oz per lb.
