    Organizing and decluttering the homestead

Got it finished!!! Well...almost. Still have one work surface that needs sorting into small bins, but that's just a small work bench, so will work on that tomorrow. Hauled stuff to the dump, some to Good Will and have some to sell. Son, Eli, built me a large work bench in the shed that...

    Organizing and decluttering the homestead

Yeah....it is pretty embarrassing....but it shows we all have our mountains to climb, doesn't it? :D I vowed today that, if it's in my power to do so, I'll never let it get that bad again in this life. Last year was just to taken up with fence building and wood shed building and all and all...

    Organizing and decluttering the homestead

Still not quite finished on the shed project....it was a big mess, so taking a tad longer. My son, Eli, built me a storage/work bench along one wall today and that was a huge bonus. He built it out of heavy pallet materials but had to break down the pallets first, so this thing took most of...

    Organizing and decluttering the homestead

We could, that's for sure! But....I don't think anyone would come to a yard sale that's 20 mi. from the nearest town and 1/4 mi. back from the hard road. One would have to have some pretty nice stuff for folks to drive that far and away. We could haul it to Joel's house to sell it, but he's...

    Organizing and decluttering the homestead

Last year we didn't clean out the shed and this past year we have been working hard on so many different projects that the shed has become a nightmare of clutter....a lot of extra stuff in there from the farm startup and just extra everything. It's embarrassing to show just how bad it is, but...

Hen Turning into Rooster-How to Reverse

I've been keeping chickens for almost 45 years now and only had one hen develop more male characteristics and that was when I was temporarily without a rooster....she never crowed but did develop small spurs and was mounting hens. Upon getting a sexually mature alternative, the hen reverted to...

    Coronavirus Concern Up

Nope....not much into history unless it's Biblical or stemming from that. I liked learning about our country's history in the Fuel Project's "Know Your Enemy" series....it was a huge eye opener. Won't ever think of our country's government quite the same again.

    Coronavirus Concern Up

Those I just gathered real quick with a few searches....anyone can do it. I already know the info I've been reading for years, but a lot of that's been removed from our sight....I don't really need the info any longer. Over on my forum I've been posting links and videos for some years now...

Go deeper in your cumulative research, folks.....follow the rabbit hole of nanotechnology to the extent of what they are now capable of and apply it to what you know about population control strategies. The RFID chips are so last season. ;)...

    Electric fencing for mini cows?

She's right....the electronetting is a pain to move and use, though many think it isn't. I use a high tensile fencing on the perimeter and use polybraid and step in posts to make temp paddocks to move the flock through the paddock every 2-4 days. I like the Timeless fence posts that are...

    Coronavirus Concern Up

Nope....talking about here in the US. I used to give folks flu shots for 8 hrs long at flu clinics and never once had to give someone a card they could show where they'd had their flu shot. Wondering why the difference between the flu and covid? Just food for thought......

Yes. Israel already stated that no one would be able to buy, sell or trade in their country without proof of the vaccine. Said their government wouldn't even have to enforce it as all the business owners would do it for them. And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free...
