    What's for dinner?

I thawed two vac pac'd packages from '22 of chicken thighs. Son put them on the Weber. So good! He had two; hubs and I had one. I told him that pieces of meat are a treat and that we try to fill up with other good things. Like the baked potatoes, the home grown/frozen green beans, and the...

What did you do in your garden today?

Yes, way too wet here and too cold at night. We had a frost advisory two nights ago. Seeds are late, and have yet to come up in the new greenhouse. I need a dump truck of garden soil to fill my humongous raised beds after they settled this winter.

I've had Run Chicken for 1.75 years. Never a problem. It even faces east, but still not a problem.

Coffee's Ready, Come and Sit on the Porch

Was it someone on here who mentioned within the last year about the phone calls from the Medicare Advantage provider who wanted to do the annual phone call/video call? Hubs and I did them two times in the last two years, and are being bombarded now for a new call for this calendar year. My...

    Food prices June 2021

It is horrible greed, shrinkflation, and corruption. I broke down and bought a package of Wally's lunch meat. Cooked ham, water added is the legal label. $8 for 24 ounces. I don't need no stinking plastic tub with lunch meat. I just want something other than PB or tuna fish for my son and hubs...
