    What if DH/DW Couldn't?

I had a talk with hubs and son last nite, before dinner. I think this place is too much for us. Always working working working for hubs. With the huge shop and garage, he has now filled it. There is so much stuff there to sell off, but nope, it might be needed. I'm on another rampage in the...

Coffee's Ready, Come and Sit on the Porch

Coffee's Ready, Come and Sit on the Porch

I wasn't able to get into any urgent care yesterday for my coughing, so today I called when my PA office opened and was on hold for 22 minutes. Yes, they had an opening at 11:30. YEA!! Boy, am I stupid and behind the times. Docs don't hold openings anymore. If you need to see them urgently...

    What's for dinner?

I had two cans of store bought rte soup. One was a lasagna type and the other was spicy sausage with tomatoes. PERFECT! Put them in the same pot. Added some leftover cauliflower, broc, corn and a few cubes of beef from another dish. YUMMY with cheese toast!

Coffee's Ready, Come and Sit on the Porch

Cough. Cough. Very weird for me to cough. Kinda dry and kinda not. Prob got it at the Food Bank, but oh well. At least Monday is a holiday and I don't have to volunteer there that day, so I don't infect all the other seniors working there.

What did you do in your garden today?

I got a delivery of 4 yards of 3 way soil from the local bark soil company. I needed to fill my beds, which sunk tremendously this winter, as expected. I placed sticks, twigs, branches, cardboard, etc on the base of them all, and then topped with purchased dirt. Now that its settled, I'll only...

What did you do in your garden today?

Now isn't that funny how different rules can be? Last Monday a farmer showed up with a banana box full of asparagus. It looked so good that I wanted to grab two stalks and run off and nibble them. We thanked him and then I washed them all. The next day they were divided up and a baggie placed...

Coffee's Ready, Come and Sit on the Porch

My baby bro called with sad news. The Bernese Mountain Dog they bought now has leg cancer. She's 5.5 years old. Its $10K to amputate but it will be hard for a large boned heavy dog to manage without a leg. Its $15K to start chemo Its $18K for radiation and then chemo. All three solutions will...

We got Starlink last winter. Much more reliable than Century Link. But it is $120 a month, vs $65 for CL. Ouch.

What did you do in your garden today?

Something got into my Costco greenhouse the other night. I accidentally left the door open. It toppled the two trays from the upper shelf. Didn't get the other two trays on the same shelf tho.
