    Lazy Gardener's Little Town Farm

Torrential rains for the past hour. With the force of the rain, I'm wondering if there will be a garden left. My new planting of beans has just sprouted... Oh well... God is in control!

Coffee's Ready, Come and Sit on the Porch

No, I have not specifically looked at any of those sites. I do see T-shirts advertised on FB. Many are appropriate, and I would wear them, both for the message and the style. I've no doubt that there are plenty of inappropriate messages, claiming to be "Christian" as well as inappropriate...

Specifically, is WHAT real or fake? Faucci is very guilty, and has been behind gain of function research for years. He stated YEARS ago that the benefit of gain of function research was worth the risk of escape of such research into the human population, causing a pandemic. A whole trail of...

    Lazy Gardener's Little Town Farm

I'm not exactly sure where. But, yes, it did make it onto the "truthful" news stations. I very much doubt that MSM posted it. It's all over FB. I love how faucci (I spell his name quite differently) was called out. He never admitted wrong doing. IMO he needs to stand trial for crimes...

    Lazy Gardener's Little Town Farm

A fun time was had by all: * 2 meals enjoyed on the deck. It never got hot today. * Hubby finished mowing the lawn. The grass clippings were used for chicken run, one garden bed, and on hugel kulture mound. An other load of stable bedding due to be picked up this evening. * Maggie...

    Lazy Gardener's Little Town Farm

It was Creal's post. See post # 887. Apparently, the dates are wrong, so it is either a "falsehood" or was incorrectly dated. So, he removed the original post. However, you may be able to find it by doing a google for the "movie title".

Coffee's Ready, Come and Sit on the Porch

While there may be a growing market for Christ based apparel, I think the market may be pretty much saturated. It would be fine as a hobby, but, I very much doubt that you could even break even. I agree with MB: Take a look to see what is already being done. On FB, I see frequent...

    Alaskan's Life

I can see why you live where you do. Long winters are a small price to pay for such beauty. When I was younger, I thought moose were the ugliest animal on God's creation. I imagined that: A: He took all the left over bits and pieces, and tossed them together, and Moose was the final result...

Coffee's Ready, Come and Sit on the Porch

Creal, if I was going to do an air brushed design, I would do: either an empty cross, perhaps with a crown of thorns, or an open cave. Could do the same thing, with the light effect. While angels are nice, I think the "angel" message does not tell the "needful" story.

Whether she chooses Jesus, or not... I can state that I've sowed the seeds. It's freeing indeed to know that we don't own the outcome. She still crosses my mind, now and then, even though it's been decades. And, when that happens, I know the Holy Spirit is prompting me to pray for her.

    Lazy Gardener's Little Town Farm

Morning comes early in my yard. Birds of all kinds begin their day between 4 and 4:30 AM, regardless of the time of year. This morning, it was not the usual rooster greeting joining the wild bird song. But, a hen who was distressed by something. So... out I went. All was calm in the hen house...

Agreed with you completely regarding this. My hubby says: For the Christian: This earth is the closest we will ever get to hell. But, for the non-Christian, this earth is the closest he will ever get to heaven.

IMO, a combination of Dominique (or possibly barred rock) AND EE. I just love the personality of Doms and EE. Those 2 breeds have small combs (rose and pea, respectively). They tend to blend into a wonderful flock. their personalities are well matched. And they provide a nicely colored egg...

    Alaskan's Life

No. I had chickens until I was in high school. Then, I didn't get any more until after hubby and I built our house. Had them for about a decade, there-a-bouts. Then, started my current revolving flock about 17 years ago. I've had bantams, sex links, leghorns, (white and lt brown rose...
