Ronott is awesome over on BYC. There is a home Bakers thread that has lots of sour dough information. In fact, the last couple of days there has been lots of advice to help a member refresh his start.
Sourdough is fairly easy - say's the gal who has let 2 starts go bad in the last 2 years, lol. I had one for over 6 years before this...
What is your fear - maybe i can help.
Is your starter dehydrated?
You can get some great info at: http://www.carlsfriends.net/
Download the PDF brochure - it...
We have a very nice chipper shredder that has not been started in over 4 years. I was using it in the garden to shred weeds in the fall, and then it got pulled into the barn and parked for the next 4 years. I asked my DH if he put additive in the fuel tank for winter, he said he did. I don't...
I need to find a good way to store t-posts and fencing scraps. I am waiting to see what ingenious things you come up with that I can adapt to my needs, lol.
You go girl!
@baymule I think the cord wood house sounds wonderful! I have cruised through a few sites on cordwood building. I am trying to talk a friend into building a cordwood sauna at his house.
AS you have found out with your DD, you can't tie your dreams to someone else's life.
You have done so...
I think the problem with the Electric cars is going to be the batteries. Old car = old batteries. Unless they do some major improvements on the batteries, we are looking at an environmental disaster.
They now charge you at the battery store to take used A, AA, etc. batteries - that used to be...
Our Chief River Nursery order came in also. I was a little disappointed in a couple of the saplings - they had very little for roots. The apple trees are great - the peach and pear trees were DOA, not a single sign of life at all. Unfortunately, with this devastating drought we are in, we...
I like your chicken tractor. I was going to make one based off yours- simple, effective, and just enough to keep them safe and movable to new ground as needed. DH got ahold of the build and it is now 1/2 way done, not sure how he wants to finish it, and will have to be moved with the tractor...
J&J is not an RNA type. It is closer to the traditional vaccine.
My understanding is that it does not use killed COVID-19 virus, but a similar spiked virus to teach the body how to react ot the COVID-19 virus.
TAKEN FROM THE WEB...
We ordered a boatload of trees from Chief River this year. We got an email that they will be shipped soon. We still need to figure out where we want to plant them. But, DH did mow the field where most will be going.
How can high schools require a vaccination for students when the vaccine has not been approved for use in children under the age of 16?
A local school recently voted to remove most covid restrictions. Kids and teachers are not required to wear masks. If you have a fever, you must go home and...
Looks like 3 cages there, how big are they?
I would like to get meat rabbits, but DH won't eat rabbit. I grew up with it and really like it. I don't know what there is to not like about rabbit meat, it really has a mild flavor.
By removing the shelves, there is alot of space for 50 pound bags of feed. I will be buying 250 pounds at a time for the broilers, so this will be great. I put a small container that removed humidity from the air in there to keep the moisture levels lower.
Approximate date was October, about a month or so before the election.
It was on the morning show for Channel 5, WFRV in Wisconsin. I am not sure if it was Green Bay or Appleton doing this. They sometimes forget to identify which city they are talking about.
I remember this because it made me...
