Since my last post, I have finished up all of the tomatoes, and I have been canning free green beans. I think I got roughly 30 quarts and then I did 17 pints of black beans. I have more dry beans, squash, and broth to do next.

Not to change the subject, but... I canned 3 quarts and a pint of green beans, and 6 quarts of tomato juice today. And, for the record, I used a pressure canner and water bath canner, BUT feel free to do it however you would like to....

I dug a hill of potatoes last night. Not too shabby!

I can on a propane stove on a screened in porch, and if I have issue with wind, I always have bad luck processing. It'll turn out funky.

@Mini Horses Yes, the Lord has blessed us for sure. I did 32 pints of carrots yesterday. I am running out of space lol.

9 pints of tomatoes yesterday. One more canning of tomatoes and it will be finished. The blight finished the tomatoes off, but they did so good. Carrots, today.

This is the canning section at our nearest Walmart. They had one package of half gallon jars and that was it. No lids, rings, salt, etc.

Anybody else think the excessive spending out of Washington DC is a bad thing too? Trillions in debt over COVID-19.

We used to see those all of the time when I was a kid. I rarely see them now.
