Figured they probably were, but also figured the info might come in handy for someone else. Prunus serotina is what we have growing around here. I burn quite a bit of it.

Almost forgot to say, you don't want to grow Prunus serotina. That's a wild black cherry. They're great for firewood, but have little, tiny berries that are almost all pit.

Here's the 2 I know of. I know some people look at the cost and think they'd prefer chopping the ice. As far as I'm concerned, the time you save is worth the cost.
