Thank you, I love me some pictures lol! They truly are worth their weight in gold. And the only reason Dixie was allowed to stay. She is, oddly enough, more like a dog than anything though.
Last night we dropped to 44* so not nearly as bad but by second week in august we have 90+* days and sometimes 30* or lower nights. Those swings do a number on everything and everyone. Right now we are still in the process of heating up and road restrictions FINALLY came off a week ago.
We are considered 3a but lord knows we have seen plenty of 2b and some areas close to us, like 30 minutes or less, are 2b. Night before last we were down to 33* at 6am still :hit
My garden babies are growing like mad as well!
Then I moved the electric net fencing for the goats last night and they are happy with the stomach high weeds and grass.
got some updated pictures of the chicks. My polish is starting to get "the do" I love this! #firsttimewithapolish
It is also looking like I have 2 roos and 3 hens out of my Icelandics that were straight run and the numbers I wanted!
Stella.... my heart and soul of a dog loves her...
Because.... because.... adorable!
We have always joked that Stella is like a mother hen and LOVES all things baby. ALL THE BABIES. She is super confused and concerned why the new babies "cry" so much.
I am looking forward to learning more from you! I am just starting but so far I only had a failure when I tried to add cheese coloring. For whatever reason it just didn't go right... I don't feel the need to add coloring to it but we thought it would be fun to try. WRONG. :hide
Whooo! Welcome over here! Can't wait to watch what is in store for y'all.! Any garden plans for this year or are you holding off due to the impending move?
I hope to try it this year. These are mostly recipes I've just found and hope to try. :)
I hope anyone who does give these a try shares their experiences and what worked for them!
I don't mind if they hatch out random chicks but come spring i will be separating to collect eggs maybe. Maybe not. I only have the icelandics that may have Roos. I think i got three hens and two roos of the five but not sure. We are still new to this all.
