Could it be guilt or fear? Maybe deep in their hearts they know that there is a 1 true God, but don't want to admit it. So to hide the feeling, they over react to anything about God.
Could you please expand on this? Send me a pm if you would rather please. I believe this is leading to the...
I like putting my warm weather crops under milk jugs when I plant them. The greenhouse effect it gives them helps them grow better to me.
Our "last" frost is around March 15th. I put my tomatoes out a few days after this under milk jugs. We had 2 really cold spells since then. Some I had to...
We are scrounging around here too. We're using every last piece of lumber we have to keep from having to buy any. It has gone up so much in price, over 230%!! That's just outrageous. :(
Sorry to hear about Maggie. Is she doing better?
My dog has been sick about 3 times over the past month. Throwing up & drinking lots & lots of water. The first time I thought it was something he ate, but then it happened two more times. Took him to the vet. They have no idea. Gave him a shot &...
Hey now! That's our state bird!! :)
Why is the Mockingbird The state bird of Texas?
Legend has it when Texas chose the mockingbird as its state bird, the resolution stated that the bird is "a fighter for the protection of his home, falling, if need be, in its defense, like any true Texan..."...
I put my squash starts out this past week. Planted my green beans & cucumber seeds. Planted a few sunflowers here/there.
My tomatoes & peppers are growing good.
I had to pick a few things up in town this morning. Walmart had regular & large mouth lids & rings, no lids only. There weren't many of those. They did have 3 cases of smooth sided pint jars.
Here's a companion chart I use a lot. It's not as extensive as the one you posted, but quick and easy.

I haven't run across any mosquitos yet. I'm sure they are out there, they just haven't found me.
I went looking for...
I've got to clean out my shed too. I plan on working on it this weekend, since next weekend is FREE dump day. You have to have your junk loaded and ready to go when they open, otherwise they fill their bins early and you can't dump.
She was mobile when she went in. That was part of the problem. If she wasn't watched 24/7, she would wander off. She was in the home almost 2 years before passing.
She was such a sweet, wonderful Mamaw. She loved her family & God. I think that is what bothered her most about being in a home...
I hope you have a good season this year. How is your Dad doing at the veterans home? I know the transition can be hard. It was hard on my Mamaw when Mom had to put her in a home. She kept her for 3 years before putting her in.
Chicks are always good! I brought some home last weekend. I wasn't planning on getting any for a couple of weeks, but just couldn't pass up Blue Australorps.
Welcome HTA! I was born in the panhandle. We moved to East Tx when I was a little girl.
Love the name. I had a pet horny toad. I actually found it here in East Tx when I was a youngster. I haven't seen one here since.
@Hinotori - I love your mutt hen, the golden one. She is so pretty! I like...
