Spot on! If I could give your post ten 'likes', then I would!
My health took a fast nose dive in May of 2012. Didn't take me long to pick priorities and cultivate new interests. I think you covered everything!
Do what you can. "Never give up, never surrender" used to be my rallying cry. Now...
This is the first I've heard of it. Can you post the recipe in a new link in the kitchen/food part of the forum? It sounds like something that would go over pretty good here.
What are you using for his hot spot? I got this from EarthClinic.com I used diluted AVC on my dog with success. It worked fast, too! The first time he got one, I didn't know what it was and took him to the vet. $$$$ Next time, the ACV.
How To Use Apple Cider Vinegar for Hot Spots
First of all...
It must be a personality thing. My sister in law has gobs and gobs of rings, most of them real diamonds. She had one on lay-away constantly, then when she got some extra cash, she bailed it out and chose another one. After 50 years, they add up.
Slightly overcooked baked beans and burgers.
I cooked pre-soaked navy beans in the instant pot. They were dinky beans... so now they're over cooked. I added all the other stuff and they're just hanging out instead of cooking.
:sick I know that smell. Blech. We had an old cat that started peeing on the carpet right against the drywall in the basement of our old house. In an effort to get rid of the smell, I would saturate the carpet w/ whatever cleaner and use the machine to suck it as dry as I could get it, repeat...
I thought about the salt blocks when I was using one this morning. I bet I've been using the same one for two years. The neighbor that told me about them said the only time she's had to replace hers was when she dropped it and it broke into pieces. They are awesome for stink, still let you...
Maybe kitchen, laundry and general? Do you use a standard cleaner in the bathroom and elsewhere?

It's a conundrum. There is a lot of crossover.
The things I use in my living room when I get down to business: Window cleaner, anti static spray on the dust rag, dust mop treatment on the dust mop and laminate cleaner.
In the dining room, the same stuff.
In the kitchen, I use a countertop...
Yes, I agree. DH and I talked about that. Even on the shower pan.... hmmm. You would just HAVE to use some type of oil-removing cleaner after it. I'm dealing with hard water deposits on the shower walls that vinegar won't budge. I'm trying not to use some creepy chemical stuff.

Our oldest clued me into this. We also buy big jugs of soy sauce, olive oil, things that last forever and things we use a lot of. Usually they're a lot cheaper than smaller packages.
My biggest surprise lately? Tomato Powder. When son was going to move up on the mountain, he didn't want to have...
What do you all think about different threads in cleaning supplies where we all post our recipes? One thread could be Homemade Kitchen Cleaners, and so on?
That might be the place to post a few 'different' cleaning tips... I read one the other day, to get rid of hard water and soap scum in your...
