    @rhoda_bruce, $400 a year? Something is wrong! I pay just under $300 a year for my 1988 F-350 7.3L idi Crecab XLT Lariat long bed. I used pallet wood to build the sides of my well pit cover.

    @sumi, exactly. Use two glass bottles that are the same, then cut them so the two bottom halfs when butted together equals your wall thickness, then tape them together with duck tape.

    Vertical windmill

    I think a vertical windmill with magnetic generator is the most effective way. It will take less wind and produce with less downtime. Any members use these?
