Tomato Catsup
3 1/2c. Tomato sauce
1/4t. Celery seed
4T. + 2t. Sugar
1 3/4 t. Salt
1/4 t. Onion powder
1/4 t. Pepper
Dash cayenne pepper
4 T. + 2 t. Honey,or your favorite sweetener
4T.+ 2 t. Vinegar
2T. + 1 t. Lemon juice

A couple of weeks ago I made double batch of eclairs. That used 12yolks !! Then, I made an angel food cake that used the 12 whites !! How about meringues? I haven't madeany in years, but it I seem to remember that it takes quite a few whites. I also make custard.

Boy, am I glad I found this thread! ! Lots of great info. We use a lot of butter, so our freezers always have quite a bit in them. I never thought about preserving it in salt. It makes sense thou. You use salt to preserve meat.
