@CrealCritter ; What your neighbor said, and @baymule said is true. If they are somewhat resistant to internal parasites, the pumpkin seed thing will usually suffice. There is no way to tell if certain ones are more or less resistant other than to do a fecal count; or just cull out the ones...
Might be the thermostat is sticking... they will do that and cause overheating... or can not close and the heat will only be lukewarm inside the car. Makes me think I need to check all mine and get antifreeze added to any that need it.
Guess the dentist appt went okay.... not fun but you will be glad to have them out...
Hope that you can eat on the right side more comfortably tomorrow...
When you requested the service did you specify that it was going to be a residence with a "shop" for working on your own equipment or something that would have justified the 200 amp service? Anything that you can use for an "argument" to get back some of the "commercial fee" charge? I would...
Nice weather this week in the western part of Va also... but temps are going to drop for the weekend into the low 40's and possibly the 30's by Sat night... maybe a little rain Fri eve, more hit and miss as the temps drop and the cooler air comes in from the west, but not much. We are in...
The power companies really do not take the time to do things right from the start... billing as commercial was totally wrong... and they will give you a bs runaround to get it changed... AND you are due a credit for the screwup....keep after them until you get it straight....but such a waste of...
@CrealCritter ; Calves, and most baby animals, seem to make a huge "growth spurt" in the first 2-3 weeks... but it is actually natures way for them to be a little "skinny and light weight" when being born to make the passage easier by them not being too bulky... just all legs and angles, and...
It's that whole " I before E " thing... with the "exceptions" thrown in...and there are plenty of cases where the i before e except after c, isn't a rule either... I often write things and look at them because I am just not sure sometimes...
Is it mispelled , or misspelled???

Just checked in here... @CrealCritter you are about right with the timing... most will kill in the `15-24 month age range... depends on the time of year one starts with the animal... most like to have a spring calf on the cow, weaned off, go through another summer on grass and kill late fall...
Agree with the estate sale finds... Washer/dryers and fridges and freezers are often available... like the ones @murphysranch got. I have bought 3 freezers over the years at "sales" ... especially older ones with a few dings... at really good prices...most in the $100-300 range... and have 2...
A couple of suggestions on appliances... If you are anywhere near Mennonite or Amish stores...to go look at simple types.... whatever you do, get the simpler washer and dryer (NO, NOT hand cranked..... LOL) but go with as little electronic crap as you can... the electronics go bad fast and are...

I was checking one of my CC's, "Aspire"... and found 2 charges for $150 each at a Costco in CA... with a $50 membership fee at the Costco.... talked to the cc fraud dept... and it was done as online order... cancelled card and sending me the fraud charge papers to sign...send back... had my 30...
We had a wind and rain and HAIL storm last Friday night... downed trees and tore some stuff up. Shredded the green house shelter that had some tears... cover was to be replaced this fall... but this really hurried it along....
Knocked the tall sunflowers over at the ground... broke the...
