Good day, sorry for no updates recently guys. Been busy with anything And everything. Dad started drinking again and moms breast lumps showed up again -_- my aunts out for the month from Michigan. Also had all 4 wisdom teeth pulled out today, surgery was at 8am and I've been asleep since I got...
I gotta say I love all the pictures and details! Are these very heavy and how many of the divider boards do you put inside of each hive? It looks like on the first set that you have quite a few but in the second set it looks like they are more separated with one every so many inch's...
I've done it... I've gone and got a 12 count incubator to hatch out ducks. I am super excited for this but at the same time I'm kinda freaked out.
I originally got it because I want a few more female ducks in my flock, I've already told my mums if she wants to eat any I'll raise em...
It was a monster indeed, I am super thankful Twinnie was there to help me build it and it looked so deceptively easy to build I pretty much snagged a picture off the internet and decided to build a holder like that one. In the end I used
13 and 1/2 PVC pipes
2 bags T hooks (pipe ends)
1 bag C...
Took me a bit and I'm out of cage supplies for the moment but here's some pictures of my handbuilt PVC pipe rabbit shelf/rack. I still need to build my waste trays but for the time being I have some old rabbit cage drops under the little one up top :)
This monstrous beast stands at about 7ft...
Welcome to SS! There's tons to learn and plenty of wonderful folks willing to share their knowledge :) I've only started my own SS journey (within the last year) but have already learned so much from everyone! Remember the old saying: There are no stupid questions!
:D
-hug- many hugs your way! Sorry to hear the winter has been so horribly rotten!
Hope your mom surgery went well and that she gets well soon!
I had to look up e.cunniculi and it sounds like a nasty, glad you caught it early on.
That much could get me a new Motorbike quite easily :'l I never actually though about how much money was being put in these darn things. Even if using more expensive cloth for the re-usable kind they pay themselves off in like 1-3 months (the boxes I buy cost about $16-20 since I buy bulk at...
Do you find that hardware cloth gives your buns sore hocks? There's a huge debate about it but I don't think it'd be an issue so long as I give them something else to stand on as well
Sounds great!
I'd have to find it again but there was a great recipe I found online for dog treats that you and your dog could eat. If I remember right it was pretty much just yogurt and peanut butter that's frozen into drop sized dallops.
I'm eagerly awaiting your recipe since I love to make...
Thanks!
Its been one heck of a project worked on the doors a bit more today but I've gotta get a grinder to buff out the sharp edges. My arms look like a cat tried to use em as scratching poles at the moment
All in all I'll be glad when I'm done building them all (then its all outer...
I'm not do e with it yet but I've spent a good majority of the evening working on a massive rabbit cage
Its 5ft long 2 feet tall/wide and when I've finished it there will be two doors and hay feeders onto the cage too
I would love that! I've been super pumped about This style of gardening for a while after watching videos of the Tower Garden on YouTube  I'd love to have a few of those around my home but that price tag makes my wallet cry out in agony.
