We love soup, but I like to make big batches to freeze because making soups can take quite a bit of time. When freezing, some of my soup recipes have turned out well, some not so good :idunno
Are there any secrets to freezing soup? I always make a homemade broth :drool ...

:D Good Luck! I have two piglets that are maybe 35 lbs each now...I don't have any desire to butcher large animals :sick , but sure admire those of you who can do it. Keep us posted!
All fixed up :) The nurse practitioner gave me a tetanus shot. some anti biotics and told me soak my foot in epsom salts daily X 3. Feels much better already!
We have a lady in our area who processes chicken June through August, when her kids are out of school. I'd love to learn how to process them during the rest of the year. She charges $2.50 per bird - would be a nice supplemental income!

My dog Penny has had a terrible time with itching this year too - with and without fleas. I used ACV on her hot spots, and they healed very quickly. I try to keep her indoors and more comfortable with the AC blowing and cold hardwood floors to lay on. Cool feels good to them - hot makes the itch...
