Awesome!
As it is our first time we made 4 pints of apple and pear butter. That with our banana jam should have us set for quite awhile.
Would like to do more green beans but have to see what we can get.
This has been our first time using a pressure cooker. Glad we found one cheap! We love it.
First time with the pear and apple butter as well. The apple butter is making the house smell amazing!
Yes we cant wait to be putting up our own crops. We have in the past and it was very rewarding.
Today we have been pickeling. Hot and spicy eggs for me. Carrots and sweet onions for everyone.
Also have 6 pounds of pears cooking for pear butter.
Apple butter tomorrow
My dw and ds had an encounter with something.....
They were camping in Washington state. It was late and all of a sudden the forest went dead quiet. Then a horrible smell. Then they heard the rubber maid pop open and then close..... then it urinated on the side of the tent....

Well we canned 18 quarts of green beans today. Sadly we bought them. But not from a store. Fresh picked.
First time using a pressure cooker!

Well our dog was stolen a week ago. Been searching for her. Havent done much besides that. We are all upset about it.
And i need to fix my truck. Brakes booster failed and i have a leak in power steering.
Otherwise we are good
Dw is doing much better finally has the bug beat. Getting back to her pampered chef business. Which means i am playing camera man again lol. I am getting better at it slowly.
Well we are living in an apartment while we work on our house. Dw's medical issues being what they are it is better for her. We went out to our property today and i was shocked. Someone has mowed and baled the grass! I dont know what to think.
True reverse osmosis is amazing. The submarine i was stationed on had the first ro in the navy. It took seawater and made it to clean to drink. The things they sell at hardware stores is sadly not that. True reverse osmosis takes high pressure. But you dont want water to clean to drink...
We would love to use gas but i have to admit i am a bit of a prepper. Dependent on propane would be a down side if things go bad....
according to kentucky if my well goes deep the water will be harder and less fit for drinking...
