I wasn't too interested in Cinnabon, but curious about KFC. I'm really curious about what other recipe secrets he may come up with in the future though, depending on how the show is presented.
There is going to be a new TV show called "Top Secret Recipe" with Todd Wilbur (:hu) who tries to uncover those 'secrets' and it airs tonight @ 8pm on CMT (Country Music Television) that will feature 'KFC' and @ 9pm 'Cinnabon'.
Just thought I'd share for those who might be interested :frow
Well, you already have lots of great ideas & advise. And I agree with Britesea about pricing too low. Don't forget to include your time invested, and that you are selling 'natural & organic' specialty products that are 'hand crafted'...not mass produced. Many eons ago when I was in Decca in HS...
I'm sorry I don't mean to be rude, but I'm very curious about what you mean by having to plant only 'registered' seeds. I can understand about diseases, but are you saying you have to have government approval for any seeds before planting? Even if the seeds were handed down from your great...
Thanks for the info, I'll get them soaking in a bit to be ready for tomorrow's chili & cornbread.........
What about rinsing after the soaking & before cooking...do I need too? And more importantly....do they taste 'pickled'???
So what should I be soaking them in anyway? From the sounds of it I should include some kind of acidity like vinegar, lemon juice, etc? If so, how much is the ratio of acidity to water?
PS......btw Bubblingbrooks, I noticed your DH has become a member here too. It was kinda hard to miss...

Now if only I could get someone else to 'worry' about my laundry I'd be forever grateful. :D
In all seriousness......it seems like I may have posted something like this before, maybe on another thread or maybe I only thought I did...

So according to that definition.....we've had increased trade & industrial activity since 2009??? If so, wouldn't that mean more jobs, productivity and overall money flow? I'm sorry, but I'm not seeing that happening.
Moolie, please don't take this as a personal jab at you, I'm just being kinda...
Great......that's good to know and thanks for the info & link. Maybe I'll put off the chili until tomorrow & soak in the meantime. With hubby & 2 young boys......anything to cut down on that 'gastric distress' would be a good thing
Is it really better or more nutritional to soak the beans before cooking them? If so....in what way? Or does it really matter one way or the other? For years I used to soak them overnight before cooking until one time I had forgotten and ended up just cooking them all day until done and haven't...
