Thats nice to have your neices and nephews over.
I like to do that as well before Christmas comes and have them all over to decorate cookies.
Its a HUGE mess, but they have so much fun and thats what its all about anyway.
I really hate to spend money on the real trees too but I always have a...
I bet she is familiar with the story of the Christmas pickle too.
I believe that is where it originated from.
We are not German but my friend is and when I got married someone gave us the Christmas pickle ornament and a copy of the story that goes with it.
It was really a thoughtful gift and we...
We put up our tree on Christmas Eve. I love to come home from our church's Christmas service, have dinner together and then put on the new pjs and decorate the tree.
I have some other trees that are themed for every room in the house that I will put up earlier, but not a whole lot earlier.
I like renaissance woman for Beekissed.
"a renewal of interest or creativity in an area"
Beekissed does alot of creative things both at home and in her work and its stuff that no one seems to be doing in her area anymore. She is bringing all the old ways back again by just living the way she...
Wow, that is so great. I would love to own one of those dogs. I hear they can be very good watch dogs over the chickens.
I get some deals at Walmart but never anything that good!
Congratualtions and a pat on the back for taking her in.:)
I had a workshop last week.
This one was for ourselves though so it was nice.
Usually all the training is for disaster response involving the population, but this was for our own households.
It was about preparing our homes in case of emergency and when we left we got tote bag/back packs full...
We talked about this a couple of months ago and someone mentioned that they were worried about the fires that were happening near her home around that same time.
She was a very active poster on the easy garden forum and then she just disappeared.
Someone said she has a sister on the forum too.

Hey thats great, I am glad you liked it this way. I love asparagus and its such a simple way of preparing it but it really enhances the flavor.
I am glad your husband was able to fix your steamer, but not before you got to try something new ;)

I also wrap it with prociutto and cheese and grill it that way too.
If you really just want to steam it, put it in a casserole dish with a cover and...
Hmm, the only thing I notice is that if my hands are really cold and then I put them in warm or hot water it feels like pins and needles and is really uncomfortable to me.
I have never owned a dishwasher so have always done the dishes by hand, never thought about the winter versus summer thing though, I guess its all the same to me.
:woot Glad he is home.
Just being home and not in the hospital is a great thing, its so much better recover in your own home around your family.
Tell him to take his pain meds though or he will make it worse on himself, pain can cause depression after such a major surgery.
Getting a good nights...
Thanks for all the great ideas. I will look into them.
I think it would still save money after comparing the prices around here.
$1.79 lb would be a steal.
Cooking with less meat is not a problem, I have been a vegetarian for almost 20 years and have endless recipes.
However, my husband and...
Thanks for the info, I checked out that link and it had a list of farms that aren't too bad of a ride away.
I didn't think of the feed stores either, I will do that.
I really hope to be able to find something like this.
It seems weird to me in a way, a few years ago I would never have pictured...
