Exactly what I was thinking, if it started out not bothering you and has started it may have worn off all the rhodium plating they use on white gold to keep it looking new and not tarnished. It is not too expensive to have redone.

I agree with Framing fowl, get your ring cleaned it could be harboring germs or even dirt irritating your finger or it may be sized too small. If you don't have a jeweler near by I would use hydrogen peroxide for just a few minutes (not for silver) or buy one of those ultrasonic jewelry...

Oh my I cannot imagine the steam and the tight work area canning in our RV. I use a turkey fryer base with my canner outside, I also have a 2 burner outdoor stove that is great also (it's a camp chef yukon brand outdoor stove)
