Well I be. Who wasted time today (on a Saturday)? not me. I canned 30 lbs. of chicken, feed 25 chickens and 14 chicks, 2 goats, 2 turkeys, 2 Guineas and 3 ducks. Made supper for my family . Washed clothes. Worked in the garden. Fellowshipped with friends. Worked some on another quilt top...

This morning I had left over Zuchinni Lasagna for breakfast. I was canning chicken so I had no time to fix a real breakfast. :)

I just cut up the chicken, put it in a big pot, cover the chicken w/ water, and cook it until the water gets hot. Then I put it in the jars and process at 10 lbs. for 90 minutes. I don't add any broth or salt to mine. I have always processed it this way and haven't had any trouble w/ it yet. I...

Very nice. I am trying to convince the hubby to let me put our 2 goats in our garden to clear it out before the Spring next year. So far it ain't working.

I have Pygmy Goats, and yes they are for pets but I would like to get milk for drinking and soap. They eat brush and hay other than the medi. feed.
