    Fourteen?

I bet everyone in the world has heard of the lady who just gave birth to octuplets when she already had 6 kids. I heard the doctor is being investigated by the Medical Ethics Board, or something similar, in his state. What do you think should happen tot he doctor who implanted all of those...

    Better Deals?

I have noticed that people can end up paying a lot more for items than they are worth. I think this happens because they get caught up in the bidding process, and hate to lose. Too much pride costs them too much money, but they would never admit it. Do you think it is wiser to buy most items...

    Better on Television?

It sounds like thousands of folks are flocking to D.C. for the inauguration, which I think is kind of foolish if you actually want to see anything that is going on. Watching the whole thing on television will prove cheaper and more productive. I feel this way about football and most sporting...

    Better detail?

I have seen some awesome decorative woodwork created with power tools, but a cousin says better detail, for trims and such, can be realized when using hand tools. Which is better?

    Which is stronger?

A neighbor was discussing a cabinet he wants to build for his kitchen. His wife wants "real" wood, but he wants to go with MDF with a veneer. I like MDF because it seems less expensive than going with solid wood. I have also heard tha tit is stronger than most natural wood. Is this true, or...

    Layaway Making a Come Back?

Once I pay my credit cards off, I will keep them active by charging really small amounts, but will not be using them for large purchases ever again. Several friends have come to the same conclusion. Do you see layaway making a comeback as the preferred method of purchasing, over time? Do you...

    Mental and Emotional Health Neglected?

Whenever we hear about health, news and studies are usually focused on the physical side of life, but rarely addressed having a healthy mental and emotional state. With most people feeling the pressure of the horrible economic disaster and losing hard earned savings and retirement plans, do you...

    How many are too many?

My neighbor has two children. They are incredibly well behaved but she never let's them have a moment's rest. What would normally be used as free time is jam packed with after school activities and they are on the run all weekend. It almost seems as if she is afraid they might develop...

    Too good to be true?

I found a site called Discount Tools that seems to have it all. I worry, though, that they are carrying huge lots of rejects that might make any savings worthless. Has anyone purchased from this site?

    Check This Out....

I found a huge list of rebate deals at Woodcraft's website. Great way to get ahead of the "jones curve"! There is also a huge closeout section. Sit down with a cup of coffee. There's lots to look through!

    Reconditioned vs New?

I want to add to my power tools stash, but need to save money on purchases, as most people do these days. Is it wise to look for reconditioned power tools, or should I bite the bullet and wait to purchase new power tools?

    How useful are these?

I saw a a lathe attachment for dremels on a T.V. show a few months back. It looks small enough to sit on the kitchen table, making it handy for making quick pieces or staying warm in the colder months, as opposed to freezing in the garage. Are these pretty useful, or am I dreaming again?
