I planted zucchini several weeks back and they are looking fine!
However, I did notice a few squash bugs on them, several spots of eggs as well.

That doesn't really cover the threat appropriately. The new madrid is nothing to sneer at, sorry. 4 of the largest north american quakes recorded are from the New Madrid. The last set of quakes rang church bells in Virginia and shook windows as far as Washington D.C. It was felt that far away...
My beek friend traded me 3 roosters for 2 layers yesterday.
All 3 smelled of fish because his dad is a professional fisherman. Yay local fish but :sick fishy smelling chickens!

I lucked into several gallon glass jars with lids, so that's what I used. I have a big stainless steel ladle that lived in the milk jar that was in use. It just fit inside the mouth with room to put the lid on. I couldn't fill the jars up all the way, instead I just barely filled them to the...
We did for the longest time. Our washer died (unfixable) so we had the choice of using the laundrymat or doing it by hand. Being cheap, by-hand won out.
If you have kids, kid's feet get the clothes about as clean as your hands would.
Just put them in the tub with soapy water & let the kids...
