Okie day! Yeah, and I don't think her hooves will really let her grip the throttle anyways :P
I've got(<-- typed goat right there...:P ) a call into the "good" vet, got to call back after she gets back from lunch. She's a small animal vet but the receptionist seemed to think she'd want to look...
Friday, during the feeding frenzy, DD dropped the chicken feed right near the goat's shed. Of course the nosy heifers came out to see what the ruckus was and waded right in, chicken feed being much tastier than alfalfa pellets, corn & boss.
Sometime during that, I can only assume that one of the...
:clap Just learned last week that my personnel director's husband used a pack goat to haul firewood on a cart when he was a boy.
Dixie (my older girl) has been trained to Up (get on the stand) Down, Come and Back. They really do learn quick!
It really depends on your kid and your school.
You could have a kid who thrives on the school environment or one that it smothers. You could have a first rate school or not. You'll need to talk to lots of people to determine your school. Preferably parents of kids of many different ages &...
:/ Hmmm, so you mean I built a goat shed for nothing?
It's okay, at least I have somewhere to keep the feed & can milk/feed out of the elements. :P

I pumped for almost 9 months with both of mine.
The first one is always the hardest. :hugs: Cry if you need to, but really, it gets easier.
I cried over the first 3 bunnies I did. Like a baby. A hungry, angry baby.
*hands you big girl panties* Now go put these on, tell them thank you and get 'er done!
When you see empty soy sauce buckets sitting behind a local chinese place and don't even think twice before grabbing them.
I wish I could fit a pint jar in my cupholder...
I went back & read the story of her explorations of formulas. That was a very, very touching story and I thank you for posting it. :hit and :celebrate
I *really* wish I had known about goat's milk when DS was born. He wasn't able to latch on and nurse and I didn't produce enough either. With...
