I see to my friend, Annabelle, every day. She is 87 and still gets around fairly well but needs a little help. She still likes to bake and clean. She won't slow down either. I think it's a good thing! I love guineas! The way they stick together and sound the alarm for other animals!

My banana bread has an orange glaze but choc. chips would be a great addition, Deb!!!!!! FEM- I'm glad we have plenty of tomatoes as we only got about 5-8 pounds of potatoes out of two lick tubs. Would have been cheaper to buy them at the store but I know it is good experience for next year...

I'm so sorry about Dozer! Knowing you did the right thing doesn't make it easier. I remember when you found him and you gave him a great life! I am glad you stay busy enough for 3 people and have animals enough for 3 also!

Thyroid meds is all I am on. If they were no longer available, I would take a spoonful of coconut oil a day and keep going as long as it works. I have a little arthritis and take cinnamon and honey. I also make candied ginger which is a great anti-inflammatory!

I'm sorry about Butterscotch, Deb. Can't let them suffer but it's so hard to let go! Sounds like life is good for your chickies though!

Boy has life moved on a bit for me! No longer work at the dairy. Help out at a mom and pop store a couple of days a week. So nice to have more time! Made banana bread yesterday and Cajun pickles today. Our small garden is doing amazingly well! 18 tomatoes and each plant has so many fruits...

Saturday I planted 3 habaneros, 6 sweet banana peppers, 3 watermelons, 3 squash-- all starts from the nursery. Also did a lot of mulching. Today, we planted flowers on Buddys grave--very sad. Glad it is done though. We did go to breakfast this morning and the rest of the day has been low...

We have little tomatoes!!!!!!!!! And bell pepper blossoms and jalapeno blossoms!!!!! Yesterday I planted carrots, radishes, cauliflower, lima beans, more lettuce and more parsley. The habaneros and sweet banana peppers never came up so I will buy some Sat. along with a few watermelon plants...

I think my blood pressure goes up when I read your posts. I get mad at folks being inconsiderate, rude and lazy when you already have plenty to do. I'm calming down now.

Thank you all for your sympathy and comments! Buddy had a great life once we found him! He had no seizures for the last 9 months, great health and a big back yard to run and play in! I'm so sad he's gone but glad it was fast and not dragged out for months. You are all appreciated Our garden...
