Wow, that banana butter sounds great. I don't know if I will get to try it though because my kids love bananas and they don't seem to go bad around here. Sometimes I will put a few away just to make bread!!

We pay about 18 dollars per month. This pays for 1 garbage container pick up per week. We do not have recycling but take our about 4 miles to the recycle center.

Learning form the Amish would be a cool experience. They live an amazing life and have such dedication to their beliefs. We do not have an amish community anywhere near us. We do have a menonite (spelling) community about 10 miles away. They are similar I believe.

I also put it in my big white electric roaster if I am only doing one batch. It saves on electricity and seems not to heat everything up as much!

We had a very bad storm here this morning with 76+ mile per hour straight lined winds. It was horrible! We lost two nice big trees as well as many branches, but worst thing of all is my garden! Everything in it is laying on its side! I don't know if anything will continue to produce or not...
