Ours here cost $1.25 and do come with the covers. I'm always excited when they are available. My folks are visiting and think I'm nuts when I come home from shopping with more buckets! Of course they think I'm nuts for gardening, raising chickens, living frugally...:rolleyes:
We joined our local (60 miles away!) coop because for us it is the only option for many of the foods we eat. We often have to travel to that locale anyway, so we bring ice chests to stock up on favorites. Our membership allows us to purchase at the marked price; otherwise there is a 10% added...

We buy our milk in bags here in Northern WI. It's produced by a small local dairy and available at some stores in the area/region. It's quite fresh and much cheaper. We moved here in September and this is the first that I have seen milk in bags.

I used to live in Yreka, right in the heart of the State of Jefferson (one of our high school teachers even wrote a play with the title,"State of Jefferson")! What a shock to see someone using that name! My dh went to HSU back when he had hair... ;)
