My DH made this to cover the stairs/opening in to the attic. Its made out of pink styrofoam board cut to the pull-down stair openings dimensions. Seems to work pretty good for not letting the heat escape up through there..

Well..mom wanted to go for lunch so I treated but I just had water instead of paying for a drink. Skipped washing my hair to save shampoo...and make my hair color last a little longer!!

Its a tough one, for sure. My HD is self-employed and we were covered through the hospital where I worked. When we moved here, i started with a small company and get just a portion of my portion of our plan paid. It is pricey to secure private insurance. We don't go to the doctor much...

I have salsa chicken in the crock pot. Chx breasts, salsa, cream cheese (optional.. black beans and corn) Easy as can be and oh, so good :) Will serve over rice.
I was considering making our own bread but the cost of WW flour went up big time. Then we found ww bread (w'out HFCS) at the store called"Big Lots" for $1.20/loaf. That is cheap! So we stock up when we go and my homemade is still in my mind waiting for the price of flour to drop.
