    We, too, don't have much to give up. I guess like other pps, Netflix :(, internet...we're at the library every week anyway, could use it there. I think I would keep the cell phone but maybe loose the house phone. We really only have that for internet anyway. Hope we don't have to give up...

    We have been checking where items are made for a while, but truly we just try not to buy extranaous stuff in general. I believe in buying local when possible and supporting samller operations.

    I saw a post of Craigslist recently selling Turkish Fig Trees for $15.00 each. They are 3-4 feet high. I thought it was a pretty good deal . Then yesterday in the foodstore, I saw Turkish figs for sale...ready.......$.79 EACH!! They were not big. That tells the the tree is a really good deal...
