WOW!! You go all out! There are a few homes by us that really put on a show for the trick-or-treaters! I am happy with some orange pumpkins and a few ghosts :)
Post photos when you can
Haven't heard of bread but have heard of using rice.
I have been making crustless quiches lately and they taste great!
We picked up a CuisineArt Ice Cream Maker at a yardsale a few weekends ago and made vanilla ice cream in it last night......SOOO GOOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I had never really heard of raw milk before this discussion and then, last night while reading the latest Mother Earth News, I see and an article about it!!
This is the link to the article and it discusses the prices in PA...
Karen, if you don't mind me asking, how much do you sell your soap for a piece? We went on a sustainable farm tour his weekend and one owner makes goat milk soap. They were about 2.5 in round bars and she priced them at $3.00/each.
That is awesome, you go girl!!
We buy soy milk regularly and it is pricey. I will have to check this out as an option.
Thanks for sharing and great photos!!
Nifty,
Good Morning. Love the site... Check it out daily.
In an effort to research and share savings with everyone here, could we start a thread for links to coupons, good deals, rebates, etc?
I just posted 2 links on a grocery thread but a dedicated thread for it would make the goodies easier...
Its a challenge to find coupons in the circulars for items that we buy. I go directly to the company/brand's website and look there. They ofter have coupons or samples available. Stonyfield iand Kashi are 2 off the top of my head.
Also, there are sites like coupons.com that ask you to register...
Congrats! We started with five chicks, are down to 4 and I think the ones who are crowing might be finding their way back to the farm, too. So maybe 2 hens...
Antiques are usually worth only what someone is willing to pay. See if you find a match on ebay for comparison.

Our Harris Teeter Food store here is doing triple coupons this week. Without itemizing everything here, I saved $30.00 this morning between the tripled coupons and my Vic (store) Card.
Our dd is in middle school and the only thing I can think of off the top of my head is a math assignment in which the students had to compare food store flyers. THey had to figure cost per unit, cost per item, cost per oz, and which store offered the better (less expensive) deal.
We do...
No, they wouldn't mooch. We all lead different lives and do our own thing. I think my family is still trying to figure out the keeping chickens fo the sake of eggs thing. We are much more frugal than my sisters and parents. So much that I don't even bring certain things up for discussion.
So, if...
Y'all could live without this forum??? ;)
Me, I am pretty needy. I need my hubby and daughter. I could live wihtout the dog and chicks but I would miss them. I need to be active and also have something to read.
AC is wonderful but can't put that in the 'need' pile.
