Little Dude: hey ladies.. how YOU doin'?
goaties: whatever
LD: say gals, dontcha want some of what i got *waggles around man parts*
goaties: no.
*OFG puts a bag over her head and is unable to watch anymore*
so remember when we got this little princess ?
i took her up to the Good Vet yesterday - wow do we ever love those guys. we got a good laugh about how we passed on their "free" cat offer and then turned around and got the "not free" Scruff about 3 days later. sheesh! and they all oooohed and...
ha! KC - i tried to stay away...
wait....
do you hear that?!?!??!
i have an overwhelming urge to run right over to Java's and start weeding her garden.........
ha!
GREAT work on the honey! how much did you get???
we only got about 20 pounds this year - but at least we didnt loose any hives.
and um.. yep... we've had the old "hole in the suit" thing here. sorry about the stings and hope you feel better soon!
:-)
X3!!! ha! thats the best canning story ever! and um... i almost burned down the house the other day - so you're in good company.
and nah... we dont especially want her around. i've given up a few times when she's been over - b/c they stayed too long - and just started working. i even left one...
our summer gardens are winding down too. today i actually pulled up some tomatoes! i hope i can make the fall gardens last... the weather guy said that we have 3 weeks until the first frost....yikes! we usually get some nice weather after so i'll try and get everything covered.
and yep we've...
i think i've seen some articles on this... i'll have to look around and see if there are references.
as for us - we laughed that we'd never have to worry about a fire... until the state park not too far from us started to burn a couple summers ago.
so here is our plan:
* dogs and cats first...
* OFG standing in her kitchen.... hears someone calling her... turns her head to the sound far far away.... grabs keys and peels out of the drive in the big truck, hangs head out window to follow the sound of someone calling her...... *
Java: Duuuuuuuuuuuude!
OFG, running into Java's yard...
bein' as it monday ... it must mean that its time for the "She said WHAT?!?!" segment of the show - otherwise known as the "report from our visit with the MIL yesterday"

i have frequently used the Klingon Plant Management technique...i tell them..... "produce or die!"
however, all my pepper blossoms fell right off as soon as we hit 100* earlier this summer. drat!
that marconi is amazing!!! great work!
:-)
ps your butts look great
so.
i ran right out there to see how my superbig sweet taters were doing - and to check to see if moles or what not got 'em????
so i got the big shovel and started to dig one up - because i was promised these were MONSTER sized sweet taters, guaranteed to be as big as your...

all i can think of now is...... sweet potato pie!
but i'm glad you posted this - i would NEVER have thought to check for moles!!! and Kai has been digging up in the garden were my sweet taters are!!!! so i'm gonna check them and might just can some myself this week!
:-)
