WE will probaly do some yard work, then burn a few Boca Burgers and turkey dogs on the grill.
If we feel really energetic, we'll walk downtown to the festival the city throws each year!
I would agree with that if he had remained an anonymous donor. Unfortunately, Octomom has contact with him on a fairly regular basis. apparently, meaning he is available.
We can't forget that there would have been a surplus right now if Bush hadn't put all that stashed tax money back into circulation.
I agree that there needs to be some constructive progress, but that isn't being slighted in favor of blame.
I definitely eat lighter, but that is more for "cosmetic" reasons than anything else.
We go on vacation in July, each year, so I spend June cutting back on what I eat to look good for the trip.
It's terribly unkind to say we are all sheep, when choices are limited.
We didn't create most of the problems we see with manufacturing jobs leaving the country and we didn't creat the social stratification we see, currently..
When the most fearful, who are also the most vocal, steer a...
And what might that entail, when there is no new system set up to circumvent the existing system?
I seriously doubt that anyone expected Obama to save them, but they did expect the financial sector to cooperate, at some level, with keeping their livestock, meaning us, from starving to death...
We could definitely learn from their example. I think our main problem here is that many of these laws are based on religious taboo, and not on what works well in a civil society.
There are a lot of experienced and imaginative people here, so you should ask as many questions as you can.
If no one knows the answer, someone knows where you can look it up!
Mortgage programs and bail out money provided by the new administration still isn't doing what is was intended to.
A banks participation in mortgage programs, meant to keep folks in their homes, is voluntary and banks who received bail out money are still raising rates on credit cards and...
The governor of Michigan was on CNN this morning, discussing their budget and now schools will have to be closed and teachers laid off.
During the discussion he also talked about the way Michigan, especially Detroit, is too dependent on the auto industry for jobs and revenue.
For some reason...
I think she's grasping at straws trying to figure out how to support all of those kids.
I still think the biological father should be tapped for child support.
We were tossing around a few ideas during Easter dinner, and someone brought up those fabulous Faberge eggs.
Of course, this got me thinking...has anyone seen Faberge-like eggs done in wood?
I know the work would be extremely intricate, but surely someone makes them!
She should look crazier with each new baby that comes home!
I'd worry f she didn't start looking a little ragged from all of those feedings and diaper changes, while chasing after the older kids!
Do you think it will be easy for new grads to set aside their expectations to create their own freelance businesses?
I have a feeling that might be a huge leap for those who completed their degrees based on the idea tht a corporation would provide them with a good income and benefits.
I think the "looking good" was meant for that period of time after you have been laid off and are looking for new employment.
Appearance can make the difference during job searches when you are in direct competition with other job seekers with the same qualifications.
Even though we don't like...
If my MIL was still alive, I wouldn't mind her living nearby or in an MIL apartment attached to our own home, just as along as we had separate, living spaces with separate entrances.
As sweet as any MIL might be, I would never be comfortable with open access to our personal time and space.
A lot of people around here live in the mountains, surrounded by pine trees.
Ski lodges and cabins near resort areas are always built with pine, and the furniture is always made with wood.
I have been to the ocean only once. I am much more comfortable sitting on the beach ans watching the waves roll in and out. I tried standing in the water but, since I have always lived land locked, found it a bit disturbing.
The personal warmth has been missing for too many years. It's nice to have a leader who at least tries to include all citizens when considering the changes needed in our country.
That's not a bad idea.
Remember our first George Bush?
I heard that he visited a grocery store during his presidency and thought the scanners were really "neat". Apparently, he'd never seen them before.
These guys really need to get out more often.
