I bought my house when I was still in the walking boot from the ankle replacement. I spent another 6 months, moving one small p.u. load everytime I went to the house. Painted all the rooms except the DR as it was in beautiful shape; did some things before I moved in it; floors were refinished...

Congrats on being a homeowner and being independent of a landlord that can control your movements etc.... At least all the money you pay out will go into equity and not just go in someone else's pocket... sure the bank... but as long as you pay them back, they will not refuse to renew the lease...

Agree about the freezer... Putting them on their back or side will mess up the freon... does something to the compressor...pressure....something..... and it is very unlikely it will work properly after that; even allowing it to stay upright for days to allow it to settle... WOW and double WOW...
