I remember in the early 80s, I was working with guys older than myself who were renegotiating their mortgages and they went to the banks not entirely sure that they could swing them at the new higher rates.
There's a similarity to what some people are facing now, but I'd say the reasons for the...
I take a B complex supplement as instructed by my doctor and glucosamine pills to avoid joint discomfort.
I don't take any other multi-vitamins though.
I put a jar of Alfredo sauce in a crock pot, shred some cooked chicken breast into it, then stir in some cooked pasta like the spirals or bows. (whatever the proper term is for them)
Then I keep it warm at a low heat until I serve it. Sometimes I add lightly steamed broccoli as the last stage...
Check this out... Apparently it's the recipe taken from a box of Chex back in the 50s:

My sister-in-law used to make it too.
I think hers had pretzels in it.
We have two older TVs that are connected to cable boxes, so I guess we're okay.
They seem to be lasting forever... As the prices of flat screen TVs comes down.
When we get a new TV, we'll also go for a 5.1 system, I think.
The movie Firehouse Dog was also from the creator of Wonderfalls, and I hear that they planted some of the props for the series in the set of the movie.
I haven't seen the movie yet, but I'd like to check it out.
I have Wonderfalls on DVD and I'd highly recommend it.
That's occurred to me, too.
I think that the need for parts would probably mean that they'd still be available from some source, but I have no idea how high the prices may be in that case.
Does anybody here remember a quirky television series called Wonderfalls?
It was on a few years ago, and didn't even air all of its episodes before being pulled.
It was about a girl who worked in a souvenir store in Niagara Falls that was built over a First Nation burial ground. Inanimate...
I'd say because you're a good risk to them. It sounds like you have your finances in order.
But there seems to be lots of people in the US and other countries who are facing foreclosure and bankruptcy who don't have access to the money you mention.
That's my favourite show that's currently in production.
By the way, have you heard Hugh Laurie speak with his natural British accent? That's entertaining after being familiar with his American "House" accent.
We have the remake of Flight of The Phoenix on DVD, and he's also in that.
I'd like...
Those are interesting points, toolman. I think the time required to change over as you say is a big part of why this won't come out well for the big 3.
I've heard Tropic Thunder is great.
I hope you like the Pink Panther. I haven't seen the remakes, but I love Steve Martin.
Recently I've been very impressed with Vince Vaughn in Be Cool and Wedding Crashers. I'll be keeping an eye out for his movies in the future.
Well, it's after the fact now, but we had chili and whole wheat tortillas as a snack and then squash, hot sausages and rosemary roasted chicken for the main course.
I'm glad it was another entertaining Super Bowl. And Springsteen was great, too.
I think from the way you describe their situation, they may be into too many things.
I suspect the kids would be better served getting into fewer activities, but finding things that they're really drawn to and spending more time on those, and then having free time as well.
It's good that there are politicians who stand up for the people in hard times.
I remember another one standing up for apartment tenants who were being evicted through no fault of their own, but because their landlord had defaulted financially.
I don't have a regular routine, but I take the stairs often and I walk several times a week to a local neighbourhood where I do some grocery shopping, etc.
I'd like to start swimming more regularly.
I think when you buy gold, it's for the stability and speculation of the rise in its price. I think having a portion of your portfolio in gold is a good protection strategy.
Historically there are plenty of examples of gold performing well.
I have a project coming up and I was wondering how much it would cost to rent a router as opposed to buying one?
I have a feeling that there may not be as much difference in the cost of the two different approaches as there was a few years ago.
