Last year was a bust for me. All I got was a good amount of cayenne peppers and my chickens started laying (right now they're free-loading molters). So this year were gonna try straw bale gardening. Oh and for those who knew we were trying, WE SIGNED ON THE HOUSE IN AUGUST!!!
I plan on sprouting some dry beans i have hiding in the cupboard. I have tons of beans lol. the article i read said soak for two days then start the sprouting process and in about 7 days feed to your animals :-)

Enchilada seasoning
1 tsp each black pepper, cajun seasoning, sea salt, paprika, ground mustard and cumin
stir to combine in a small bowl or mortar and pestle (highly recommend ) and store in an airtight container. easily doubled

2 tsp ginger
4 tsp cinnamon
place in a jar and shake well
Apple Pie Spice
2Tbsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp allspice alternative
1 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp ginger
in a small bowl mix together all ingredients and store in an airtight jar. 1 1/2 tsp per 6 cups apples.
Sausage Seasoning
8 Tbsp celtic sea salt ( I'm sure regular would work)
1 cup plus 2Tbsp black pepper
8 Tbsp nutmeg
4 Tbsp sage
Use 1 1/3 Tbsps per pound of meat
