Well chickens are on the agenda once again!! Sadly we lost our little girl inutero and have been healing in many ways. We need to distract ourselves and stay productive so DH brought up trying chickens :-) plus ill get to nuture and be a chicke momma!

I found an awesome blog post about making your own menstrual pads! For washable pads from Gladrags they run about $20 for only 3!! I kmow some people prefer the moon cup but for those of us who use pads this is a great upcycle and keeps countless 'sanitary' napkins out of landfills...

We hit a stumbling block with the deck wood but found a way around it. DH is gonna work on it tomorrow and buy some particle board for the walls and roof. slow going but haste makes waste. the floor is done though

Well after a lot of false starts DH got the flooring started and done. went to put the frame on and found out the deck boards my mom gave us were so bowed up we can't use them (i was on the verge of tears). luckily DH had an idea. gotta price plywood sheets tomorrow
