Rain barrel, I have one with a hose fitting at the bottom and I just connect to that. It's a simple gravity flow system so your barrel needs to be higher than where your gardens or coops are. For a small investment you could also get a sump pump that works with a garden hose and plug it in.

Pink if you get a remnant of vinyl get the fiberglass backed vinyl if possible. The regular felt backed stuff wont last as long because the backing will mold. The fiberglass backed vinyl won't have that problem so you will get a much longer life out of it.
