I've noticed that, too... and yesterday was one of those days. It's like it's hard to focus or even move so who wants to think about something like eating? :)
I'll definitely have to look for that... thanks. Cereal is a great idea. I try to eat most without sugar, but there are some kinds that I'd just prefer sweeter... Cheerios comes to mind :) and Stevia instead of sugar on it would be so much better for me.
I hope you can find it. :) Yes, they do mail order... absolutely. A few years ago a friend of mine couldn't decide what kind I'd like best, so sent *12pounds* of it to me for Easter. That was soooo hard hiding most of it in the cupboard because chocolate is very hard for me to resist.
I...
I wish I'd have some recipes! I've been wanting to try Stevia since it first became popular and I still haven't bought any. I *did* look in my grocery store a few weeks ago and they don't carry it.
I *think* when it first came out, it was confined to sales at nutrition places... is that still...
Fluff... very true. I happen to like the feel-good stories because who wants to hear the horrible dark and depressing stuff all the time? I can't take it :o but I agree about the editorialism 100%... NOT necessary and should be kept for the Sunday morning shows that deal with those types of...
Wow, talk about the economy going downhill fast. :(
My husband was just forced to take a pay cut. TWENTY FIVE percent. I think maybe 10% I could have handled mentally but this is rather steep, isn't it?
I know it's easy to say (and true) that it's better than not having a job, and sure it...
What's even cuter is when we heavily hint for something we'd love to have as a gift. :) Often the guy will think himself terribly clever for figuring out what we'd like. Shhhh, don't tell! :D
Most places I order from online now have a place for both gift certificates and discount codes so I'll bet they'd take it, yes. Wouldn't hurt to ask first, though, before you take the time to put everything into your cart.
It's actually any kind of filling the cook wants to put in the middle, I think. I've had the "plain" sweet fluffy kind and some have cream cheese, yes. One that I haven't had, unless I've forgotten, is chocolate filling. I've also had red velvet whoopie pies... that would be the cream cheese...
Phone calls and roses sound absolutely fabulous! I had to smile at the "silver-dangly" questions... they never think we know what they're up to, do they? :) What a great gift and thoughtful hubby!
I can't even remember how long it's been since I've had a good watermelon... a few years at least. :(
Those from my supermarket have a taste I just don't like and they're not as sweet... and I don't know why that should be, but I can tell the difference. Last good one I had was from a...
For all you moms on the forum, what will you be doing for Mother's Day? For me it will be a great meal out with the family. I already know about my gift, too... a new piece for my main collection. :D
I'm so glad that it's time for roadside stands to open again! Do you buy your summer fruits and veggies from stands like that? The thing I miss most is raspberries to make a raspberry custard. :D
With all the cable news that's available to us 24/7, do you feel it's too much? We need to know the news, sure, but I mean do you think that some of the stories are carried much too long? Or is so much coverage of the same issue necessary?
For me, it's split. For something like 9-11 or...
It should certainly be a priority, yes. I've seen parents complaining about how busy they are and then they say that it's because of all the lessons from everything from dance to art to crafts to music. "Something every single night after school and sometimes twice a night. I'm exhausted!"...
