A jar of home canned beef from 2021. A can of potato soup. One cup of garbanzos. Cooked rice. Dehydrated mushrooms, onions and bell peppers. Spices. Mix thoroughly. Spread in casserole dish. Top with cheese. Bake for 40 minutes. Easy to use up some pantry items.
I usually buy the 80/20 ground beef, but I did find a large package of 93/7 on sale.
Last night I made hamburgers. UCK. I added an egg, my spices and some minced onion. Those suckers would not stay together, even as I had massaged the patties. Kinda tasteless too.
I'll stick with the good...
We hit 67 on Friday and then the rain came back. Gotten 0.57" since midnight. We really really need cold weather to get the snow pack up in the mountains. Its our Summer and Fall water supply.
Well, if you want some sympathy, I can't give it to you. Sitting in Fort McDowel RV park, in AZ, where its getting high clouds and will hit a miserable 72 today. Rain coming in on Saturday, but we're heading west again, and may miss it.
I'm mostly A's. Hubs needs his cereal, hence milk. I've collected a few brix packs of 2% milk, that even past their suggested not true fake best by date, will still be good for him.
WOAH!!! Our phones went off that we were going to have an earthquake. Sure enough, about 10 - 15 seconds later, our coach started rocking! The 5.1 quake was in Indio, CA, about an hour west of us!!
The boss of the canning dept where I'm asst super, had her grandson go off to Basic. (she raised him since he was 5). He had to go to Conditioning school first, cus the only thing fit about him were his thumbs. He graduated in Dec and is off to his first post. If he can do it, so can your GS.
