    WOAH!!! Our phones went off that we were going to have an earthquake. Sure enough, about 10 - 15 seconds later, our coach started rocking! The 5.1 quake was in Indio, CA, about an hour west of us!!

    The boss of the canning dept where I'm asst super, had her grandson go off to Basic. (she raised him since he was 5). He had to go to Conditioning school first, cus the only thing fit about him were his thumbs. He graduated in Dec and is off to his first post. If he can do it, so can your GS.

    I just put four cases of Costco mushrooms, 12 containers per case, on the Food Bank outdoor bench yesterday. I've dehydrated, freeze dried, but never canned. Did you use a Ball or other approved recipe for canning mushrooms?

    Grandfather Ehly, when they would visit us from Philly, would string a huge cowbell across the hallway. That way the 4 of us couldn't get to the tree. I continued that tradition with my kids. I still have the bell!!
