Amish Breakfast Casserole
1 lb. meat (sausage, bacon, Ham, etc.)
6 eggs
8 slices bread-cubed
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. mustard
2 c. Milk
8 oz. grated cheese
Fry meat, drain and crumble.
Beat eggs, add meat and remaining ingredients.
Pour into greased 9" x 13" pan, cover and refrigerate over night
Bake at 350 degrees for about an hour.
Add parsley or onion if desired.

Every time I see this recipe, I want it right then. Then read the part where you have to refrigerate overnight - bummer.

oh you have to try it this is the same breakfast cas i make however i do all the steps except pour into crockpot about 9/10pm put it on high till it bubbles then turn on low till morning

Last February I made something very similar but called for 3 cups cubed italian bread and 1 box prepared crumbled corn muffin mix, it was pretty tasty and also had to let it sit covered and refrigerated for at least 8 hours. I think I'll make it again as I have a pound of hillbilly hollow hot sausage that is aching to be eaten.
