I've been looking on some auction sites and have seen Centrifugenal Dust Collectors. they are usually pretty inexpensive and i wondered if this is indicative of thier performance. I've seen similar add-ons for regular small dust collectors to seperate the larger dust from the finer. I'm in the market for a dust collector and wondered if this a viable option....thanks

Do a search for "CPO Jet" cause jet is clearing out their 3hp 220v cyclone dust collector for around $800. Normal price is about $1800. The only down fall is that the vacuum is 10 feet tall but im sure you can modify something to bring it lower

thanks for your input. however, i was thinking about the type that has a blower that sits on top of a trash can/55 gallon drum. theres no upper bag like many portable systems. i figure these are probably on the low end of things but i just wondered if i could get a Great Deal on one if it was worth the effort. thanks
