I was wondering if someone has some tips on how to upkeep my clear glass shower doors. I installed them a few months ago and they keep getting water spot build-up, which makes the glass foggy and is really tough to get off.

Does anyone have this problem and what could I do to slow this build-up?

My wife has become less pleased with our glass shower doors for the same reason.

I have seen a product advertised which hangs from the shower spout and sprays a liquid all around the shower stall which is supposed to prevent the build-up of water spots and soap. I think you start it after a shower while the stall's still wet.

I'm sorry, but I don't know off the top of my head what it's called.

It's by Scrubbing Bubbles and it is supposed to automatically clean your shower for you. I haven't tried it yet so I don't know if it's a good deal or not. However, I do have clear shower doors, and what actually works for me is the Mr. Clean magic eraser. It cleans all of the soap and water spots right off of the glass, and then you just rinse over it. It used to take me over an hour to clean my shower, and this way it takes about 15 minutes. It's great.

I have heard negative reports on the 'Scrubbing Bubbles'. It seems it will not clean your shower unless it is really dirty, not after every wash which every one assumes. I believe it won't start cleaning until 21 days after. I don't know about that, because if that's the case why have it in the first place. I would prefer to do it the old fashion way if that is how it works. Personally, for me, glass shower doors look beautiful but they seem to be more work than it 's worth.

Thanks for the tip about Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. It does work - and suddenly the glass looks clean. I am going to try it on other things also - anything to save time and effort.
