Not sure... We're under a status red warning now, schools closed for the week, by 04:00pm tomorrow they want everyone off the roads, where possible... Hospital staff are getting housed near the hospitals tonight, so they can get to work in the morning... Ireland is shutting down.

Dublin airport and Cork airport had to cancel loads of flights today. It's crazy here.

-5°C here at the moment. Set to drop to -8°C tonight. It's 10°C under the average for this time of the year.

I went to the supermarket now to get some more bread, milk, coal, etc. The businesses here that are open today are planning to close at 02:00pm. There is no bread, except the rolls, etc, that the supermarket bakes themselves. Milk is running low. The meat fridge was nearly empty. There were a lot of people in there, stocking up on everything they could. I'm as prepared as I can be, just waiting now to see what is going to happen this afternoon.

Glad you're prepared! But, of course, never doubted that you would be. Hope it passes quickly and spring takes over!

I like snow. A LOT! BUT. I know what's its like to have snow and cold where people are not prepared for it. Living in Wisconsin, what you have would have been normal winter weather. But when we got that here in Alabama, everything shuts down. I do hope any elderly neighbors have people checking on them, bringing in wood, making sure they are warm. Just think, your son will be able to tell this story his whole life... "When I was a kid..."

Ireland have not seen snow like this in 30 years! It's crazy out there, but amazing too.
