moaning about high prices getting on your last nerve?

LOL LOL

reason I ask is everywhere I go it is the 'topic of the day'. While there is TONS of true real life topics, the price increases are #1 in my area.

I guess being so personal, in one's own wallet, it does take top dog in topics. But at some point, ugh. Come on. I guess I am overfilled with price increase conversations

It can't be just me ;)

Truly I have to get away from this topic for a bit. I don't mean just on this forum etc. I mean just in general.

On my rv/camping forum everyone is moaning about campground price increases. Over and over again.
On my other sites it is the main topic also.

I don't know...I am price increased OUT! HAHA--heck I do it...but I gotta stop. I need an intervention HEEHEE

It depends on who I'm talking to. We have friends that the main topic is the price of gasoline. Over and over. Who's at fault. Over and over. :barnie The crazy thing is that this couple go on 200 mile drives often just because he's bored and wants to get out of the house.

Another couple we know want to point the finger at the local government for everything...every single time we see them. Over and over.

I think I need new friends! Maybe it's just their way of social chit chat, you know, like how some people talk about the weather? Sometimes it gets pretty tiring, though.

This is the main topic of lots of people I run into.

I believe in part due to the fact that it effects all of us and in a common thread in our lives.

I agree that at times it starts to be a major bummer! If a conversation Iam in starts to get ot heavy with this topic I try to stear the conversation in another direction.

Maybe in the form like-How blessed we are to be in this country verus others,I always bring up the topic of SS and how it helps with the raising cost of things in my family.

As the old saying goes-Misery loves company.
